PAT SHAND writes comics (Destiny NY, Vampire Emmy, Clonsters) and novels (Iron Man, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor). He runs Space Between Entertainment in New York, where he lives with his wife Amy and their army of cats.

AMY SHAND is a sculptor, singer, art model, and writer living in New York. She is the creator and co-writer of Clonsters and the upcoming mystical thriller Prison Witch. Learn more about them here!

Quinnjob Cosplay

JOE of Quinnjob Cosplay has been attending conventions for 15 years now, with 11 of them being in cosplay. Recognized for his efforts (and teamwork with others!) he has placed at cosplay contests at conventions as big as New York Comic Con. In addition, Joe co-helms "The Hero Army", a cosplay superhero group focused on charity events and convention appearances.

 

On the outside, Joe is also an accomplished graphic designer and ballroom dancer. He will be our cosplay contest judge this year at Kinda!Con!

Nicky Soh

Nicky Soh is an author and artist that has published with Boom! Studios (Adventure Time) and Image Comics (Liquid City 3). Currently, he is the creator of the ongoing series, RockMaryRock, an all ages story where a young teen girl accidentally awakens a legendary rock guitarist from the 60s.

Comiku Girls

The Comiku Girls, Akiko Meigetsu & Li Izumi & Janel Norris, are past celebrating their 10-year anniversary attending the convention circuit along the eastern seaboard and beyond.  Each has had a pencil (or brush) in their hand since they could hold one, & have been telling stories since they could talk.  At conventions, they are artists, cosplayers, fairies & Japanese cultural panelists.

 

In 2004, we debuted our popular Japanese Tea Ceremony Panel, and have continued to create unique panel options in the decade since. Find them here!

Laura Taveras

Laura Taveras is a 21-year-old Dominican born artist currently residing in NJ. She enjoys working in multiple categories of the fine arts realm, as it allows her to incorporate different techniques into her work. She started face/body painting in 2015 & says  “My favorite part of the face painting process is the end when they’ve seen what I have created on their skin and their faces light up." Laura will be at Kinda!Con this year to help complete everyone's cosplay with the perfect face paint & Henna Tattoos! Kids will enjoy having their faces turned into walking works of art.

Heather S.

Heather Stevenson aka thecomercialkid is currently a student at CCM studying business and fashion merchandising. She works as a freelance hair stylist, makeup artist, costume design, photographer and model. She is involved in Dover Little Theater as an actor and costume designer. Stevenson has been doing cosplay for a year now, and is in love with the journey that is has taken her on. We're so happy to have her judging this year! Be sure to stop by her booth.

Kat Rodriguez

Kat Rodriguez is an artist, cosplayer and proud rabbit mom. She cosplayed for the first time at New York Comic Con back in 2011 and has not stopped since. She likes to dress up as characters from anime and pop culture. When she is not styling her wigs or making a costume last minute, she is studying illustration at Montclair State University. She is thrilled to be at Kindacon again for its third year as a cosplay judge and exhibitor!

Coco & Colette Kawaii

Originally from Japan, YouTubers Coco Kawaii and Colette Kawaii are amazing actresses, cosplayers and internet stars. These two sisters started their YouTube anime channel in 2014, and thanks to their videos which include anime skits in the horror and comedy genres, parodies, and music videos, their channel has attracted a loyal following of almost 55,000 subscribers.

 

With their love for musical theater, and training in both voice and dance, Coco Kawaii and Colette Kawaii are sure to put on a high-energy, super-cute performance that’ll blow your wig off. And keep an eye out for the surprise ending to their show — you’re going to love it! We're so excited!

501st Legion NE Remnant

The Northeast Remnant is a proud Garrison of the 501st Legion serving the great state of New Jersey. Their members strive to create costumes which reflect the realism of those seen in the movies of the Star Wars saga. They then take those costumes and put them to good use bringing the Star Wars universe off the big screen to help the communities they live in.
